There are discoveries that don't deserve to stay only with the one who lived them — when they are projected onto the screen of life, they stop belonging to us.

For a long time now, the journey has been filled with music. Playing in intimate settings pulled at us like a reminder.

Over the years, there is something I have questioned. If we are all human (something connects us), yet we are all different (each with our own particularities and ways of expressing ourselves) — why is it so hard for us to be authentic?

There is an example of someone very dear to many in the world of music, and I bring it up with great respect and humility. He was able to show what it truly means to be authentic. If you've ever listened to him, you know he is unique and irreplaceable.
Who would have thought that the way Luis Alberto Spinetta composed and sang would influence so many people and captivate even more?
I believe he connected with his identity — with what we truly are. He defied fear and gave, even though he was a rare kind and not familiar to every ear.

That makes me believe that each person has their own version and vision. That everyone has something specific to manifest, and we feel that calling too. A calling to share through art — and what better if it is filled with the intention of building a better world.

What drives this movement is neither new nor exclusive to anyone. It's the questions one asks:
What if what I carry inside, however strange, however personal, could be of use to someone? What if the most authentic thing I can give is exactly what I'm ashamed to show?

We come from comings and goings that helped us understand that music can illuminate, just as the physical sun does — that is why we are Soles Pueden Ser.

I don't know if this will help you understand who we are, but it will certainly give you a glimpse of our longing.

That's what this is about. Music that doesn't come to save you or convince you of anything. It comes to remind you of something you already know.
